As Founder and active President of France Off the Beaten Path Tours, I hand-picked Summer to lead as head curator of our private event planning services. An accomplished event planner, Summer designs unique events, working with our extensive network of partners and suppliers throughout France to ensure your event is magical and extraordinary. She works closely with you to bring your dream to life and handles all logistics, so you relax and enjoy your event. Services include event organization, booking of all local suppliers, our picks for the best event venues, exceptional chefs and caterers, entertainment, pre and post-event organization, Summer’s presence throughout the event as your on-site planner, sightseeing tours, pre & post-event stays. Summer will work tirelessly to ensure your event surpasses your expectations!

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Summer settled in France over 20 years ago. She has dual French-American nationality and is a lifelong francophile. She worked at the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles and at “Atout France,” and made the leap across the Atlantic to France in 2000 to work as a Tourism Marketing Director before joining France Off the Beaten Path Tours. Summer also founded a local organization connecting English-speaking ex-pats with French locals in her home village in the French countryside. She organizes monthly and private events and retreats year-round. Summer’s passion for connecting people, sharing her love of France and the French culture, and making people’s dreams come true for their special event in France runs deep. For our guests traveling on one of our regularly scheduled tours, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and get to know Summer on either our Provence or Loire Valley tours.
