Since its launch in 2010, 727Sailbags has been the talk of both the fashion and professional sailing world in France. Each bag is designed and hand-made at the company’s local workshop (atelier) in Lorient, France (western France) using 100% recycled sails donated from Famous French yachtsmen who have raced and won world renowned sailing races, such as, the America’s Cup, Volvo Ocean Race, Tour de France à la Voile, Figaro, Route de Rhum, Transat Jacques Vabre and more! Designs are an exclusive creation blending practicality, style and environmental awareness.
In November 2013, 727Sailbags also opened its Paris shop at 19 rue du Jour in the 1st Arrondissement (right bank not far from the Louvre)! Now our guests can visit the shop during a pre- or post- tour Paris stay! The founder of 727Sailbags is a personal friend of Off the Beaten Path, LLC owner, Christy Destremau. As a friend and company, we are proud to offer our tour guests a stylish, one-of-a-kind gift that reflects “authentic French craftsmanship” and promotes environmental awareness through luxurious recycled creations!
